Mobilising climate investment by helping domestic financial actors build capacities and skills

The UNEP National Climate Finance Institutions Support Programme – ‘Fit for the Funds’ builds and services a forum of national climate funding entities for the purpose of building capacities and sharing practical experience with the public financing of climate mitigation and adaptation actions.

The programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety within the framework of the International Climate Initiative.
