Hirak Al-Hammad obtained his first academic degree on Electrical & Electronic Engineer. in 2005 from Bangladesh and M.Sc. on Renewable Energy in 2011 from Oldenburg University of Germany. Prior to joining Frankfurt School’s International Advisory Services as Energy Engineer, Mr. Al-Hammad served at the technical management position of IDCOL in Bangladesh.
In his professional career, he worked on various off-grid Renewable Energy projects and had the opportunity to work with international development partners like the World Bank, ADB, KfW, GIZ and IDB. He has gained expertise on designing, appraising, monitoring and conducting technical due diligence works of Renewable Energy projects as well as project financing techniques. At IAS, Mr. Al-Hammad has been involved in various projects across Asia, particularly in the area of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
