Demystifying Private Adaptation Finance & Action - breaking it down to planning and decision-making – Side Event at COP22 on Nov. 7th 2016

The Frankfurt School UNEP Collaborating Centre together with the UNEP Finance Initiative and BVEK are happy to invite you to our Side Event at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 22/CMP 12/CMA 1) in Marrakesh on Monday 7th, November 2016 at 15:00—16:30 in the room Pacific (150) in the Blue Zone. Please note that access to side event rooms is limited to duly registered conference participants.

Climate change will have considerable physical impact on both economies and infrastructure. Our event will explore how public policy, climate information and finance can work together to facilitate private investments in adaptation.

The event will seek answers to the questions: (i) how to provide reliable climate information to inform public policy and the private sector, and (ii) how public policy can catalyse private financial flows towards adaptation.
